NEWSED's mission is "to promote and develop economic and community programs and projects that raise the income, educational, and political levels of Denver residents."

NEWSED is a Community Development Corporation (CDC) that has served the Denver Community for 37 years. NEWSED creates community based economic development and affordable housing programs for low and moderated income individuals and families.

Columbine Country Club:

Columbine, a member-owned Club established in 1955, features an 18-hole Championship Course designed by Henry Hughes and a 9-hole, Par 3 Course. Beginning in l986 and continuing since l988 to the present, it has been host to the U.S. Open Qualifying. Columbine is ranked in the top ten among all private golf courses in Colorado by Golf Digest Magazine and Colorado Golf Magazine. It also has the distinction of being one of two clubs in the state to host a major championship (1967 PGA Championship).

The 40,000 square foot Clubhouse features three private member/guest dining areas, three banquet areas, and richly appointed common areas reflecting the heritage of this 50 plus year-old Club. Columbine also offers its members an outstanding Tennis and Pool Facility and Par 3 Course. The Tennis facility includes two award winning clay courts and the pool facility offers dining services at the Poolside Cafe.

Columbine Country Club enjoys a fine reputation as Colorado’s premier family club; offering one of the best golf courses in Colorado along with programs and services that are relevant to members, their families, and their guests.
